Sales Director

At Wasteless, we are helping supermarkets fight one of our planet’s most impactful sustainability and efficiency challenges — food waste. The Wasteless Solution aims to reduce food waste by dynamically pricing items with a shorter expiration date at their optimal price point, helping retailers and suppliers recapture the full value of their products. The Sales Director will play a key role in enhancing the Wasteless go-to-market strategy and expanding our market footprint in the EU, focusing on Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France.

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute an effective go-to-market strategy in order to surpass sales targets

Cultivate lasting relationships with retail and supplier partners in order to ensure short term commitments and long term success

Partner with existing and future customers to understand business needs and challenges

Partner with Wasteless product team to communicate customer needs and challenges

Develop and manage Wasteless sales team

Qualifications and Skills:

10+ years enterprise retail sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to c-level executives

Experience running and building a sales team

Experience developing accurate sales forecasts

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
